Sonika Singh, M.S., CCC-SLP

Sonika is a certified speech-language pathologist and a member the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She currently maintains a license in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Sonika received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. She continued her education at Loyola University Maryland, where she received her Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

She has since worked as a speech-language pathologist in multiple settings serving pediatrics, young adults and adults in a public charter school, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled-nursing facility. She has had the opportunity to work with individuals with multiple complex communication and medical needs. Sonika has received further certifications and training in Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), Orton-Gillingham, and Myofunctional Therapy. Additionally, she has completed education courses on Executive Functioning, Articulation and Phonological disorders. 

Sonika’s goal is to help her clients achieve the best of their abilities, feel empowered and confident through communication. She utilizes an evidence-based, client-centered and strengths-based approach. All treatment plans are created in collaboration with the family and/or caregivers to provide a holistic and functional treatment plan.
